03 Days - Sapa Ecolodge biking package

Day 01: Comfortable drive to Sapa and take a biking tour to Topas Ecolodge (-,-,-)
From 6:30 – 7:00 AM, you will commence from your hotel with Ethnic Mountain Express for a 5 hours transfer to the mountain town of Sapa. You will have lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense.
You will then get on your bike and start descending into the Sapa valley, observing the fantastic scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields along the way. You will have opportunities to get off the road and visit the Black H’mong village and be charmed by the unmixed culture of the Black H’mong minority, who has special skills in making agricultural tools, wooden furniture, musical instruments and jewelry. They are also famous for their hemp production and indigo dying.
You then continue the ride to the remote hilltop located Topas Ecolodge. After checking in your bungalow, you will enjoy the beautiful and peaceful view of the surrounding mountains and valleys from your private balcony.
Approximately: 3 hours biking/ 23km/elevation up 180m/ down 900m

Day 02: On pedals explore the Ban Ho valley and Tay and Xa Pho minority villages (B,L,-)
After having your breakfast, you will get on the bikes for a ride from Topas Ecolodge down to the valley of Ban Ho. You will ride through the beautiful rice paddy fields along the river and continue until you reach the Tay minority village Thanh Phu. You will visit the village and enjoy lunch in a local house. In the afternoon, you continue biking to My Son village, inhabited by Xa Pho minority, the smallest group in Sapa. You then ride back to Thanh Phu village and have a rest until you will be picked up by Topas Ecolodge shuttle bus and go back to Topas Ecolodge.

Approximately:5.30 hours biking/ 30 minutes driving/ 30km/ elevation up 580m/ down 1,150m

Day 03: Biking to Lech Dao village. Take Topas Mountain Express to Hanoi (B,-,-)
After enjoying your breakfast, you will start the cycling trip by following the main road for three kilometers to Lech village of the Red Dao minority, observing the magnificent valley view on the way. Here you will leave your bikes and take a short walk on dirt road to visit a traditional Red Dao family, where you experience the culture of the minority villagers who are living peacefully the same way of life as their ancestors. Back at the parking place, you will take a further ride to the new Lech village, where you will take a longer break to learn how the women in their doorways doing their embroidery, which the Red Dao people are very famous for. From the village, you ride back to the lodge.
At 14:00, Topas Mountain Express departs from Topas Ecolodge, pick you up if you are in Sapa town, and return you to your hotel in Hanoi.

Approximately: 1.5 hours biking/ 30 minutes walking/ 8km/ elevation up 220 / down 170m

– Ethnic  Mountain Express can only pick up and return passengers at hotels/ residence in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and Tay Ho District.
