Day 01: Hanoi - Bac Son ( L, D )
We depart from Hanoi at 7:30 AM. The morning drive takes us nearly 4 hours, through the fertile Red River Delta and onward into the hilly area after Thai Nguyen City. The scenery along the way is beautiful with rice and other cereal fields, dotted with stilt-house villages. There will be some stops on the way for taking photographs. Arrive at Quynh Son village by noon. A Vietnam lunch will be severed at a local stilt house. This is not only a chance to enjoy the local food but also a good time to interact with the host family.
After lunch and a short rest, we will take a short stroll around the village to learn the daily life of the Tay ethnic minority. Get picked up by car on the way and transferred to the foot of a mountain where the cell phone tower situated atop. Thence, we start climbing up to the summit for admiring the dramatic panorama of the valley. Getting back down and walk to the homestay for refreshing, rest and dinner. Overnight at the homestay.
Day 02: Bac Son - Lang Son - Cao Bang ( B )
Am : 8h30 Depart for Cao Bang. Enjoy vietnamese rural life on the way.
On the way stop for visit TamThanh grotte in Lang Son. Continue your trip to Cao Bang with many stop over on the way: visit Tay village and meet Tay and Dzao people, taking photos, rural market.. Arrive at CaoBang. Overnight at hotel in Caobang.
Day 03: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc ( B )
Am: 8h00 Drive to visit Ban Gioc waterfalls, the highest and most spectacular in the area. Enjoy an imposing scene of Ban Gioc waterfalls. Visit Nguom Ngao Cave. Return to Cao Bang. Overnight in CaoBang
Day 04: Cao Bang - Ba Be Lake ( B )
Am: 8h00 Depart for BaBe Lake, an mountain area, which is nearly 150 km far from CaoBang. Arrive on afternoon at ChoRa. Overnight in BaBe Hotel .
Day 05: Boat Trip on Ba Be Lake ( B )
Am: Visit BaBe area : Nang river, grottos, waterfall. Visit ethnic village, namely PacNgoi, where visitors can get to know about Tay People. Enjoy daily meals of ethnic minorities. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 06 : Ba Be - Hanoi ( B )
Am: 8h00 Back to Hanoi. More stops on the way, visit more minority village. Stop in Thai Nguyen for visiting the Museum of Vietnam Minority People. Arrive Hanoi at 16h00. End tour.
