01 Day - Handicraft villages and Ancient Pagodas

8h00:  Take a short drive to visit But Thap Pagoda and Dau Pagoda. These pagodas are among the finest and oldest pagodas in the North of Vietnam, and are also known as Vietnam’s first Buddhist centers.

Continue to Dong Ho Village, known for its traditional wooden paintings. You can see the unique art of Dong Ho Paintings and learn the traditional Vietnamese arts of wood carving and sculpture.

You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Keep going to the pottery village of Bat Trang where we have much in local family. This village is situated outside of Hanoi, surrounded by fertile farmland. Watch the artisans forming, painting, and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns. After the visit, transfer back to your hotel.
