This valley is situated 250 miles south of Hanoi, Vietnam's capital city, and it is an ideal place for agriculture. One interesting aspect about this valley is its incredibly high mountains which are about 500-1200 meters high. These mountains together with the valley's paddy fields create that great scenic landscape that you can only see after climbing 500 steps to reach the peak of the mountain.
This valley is also quite famous for its incredible lakes. If you head straight to the valley's pathways leading you to the paddy fields, you'll get a chance to see the beautiful river that runs crossing the rice fields. Besides the valley itself, the Bac Son district's village possesses a beauty of its own.

Day 01: Ha Noi – Bac Son – Trung Khanh ( Cao Bang) 358 km
6h30: Depart from meeting point in Ha Noi to Bac Son. On the way, you will have chance to enjoy the beauty of scenery with rice fields and dotted stilt houses of ethnic people. There will be some stops for taking photos.
11h00: Arrive Bac Son. It’s time to have a Vietnamese lunch in the stilt house of local with specialties of Lang Son. After that is a short rest then car will pick up to transfer you to the foot of a mountain where the cell phone tower situated atop. Thence, you start climbing up to the summit for admiring the dramatic panorama of the valley.
Get back the car and continue the tour to Trung Khanh village.
18h00: Check authentic local homestay in Trung Khanh village and having dinner with local ethnic family.
Day 02: Trung Khanh – Ban Gioc - Cao Bang city – Ha Noi (380km)
7h00: Check out guest house and having breakfast.
7h30: Get on the car to reach Ban Gioc. Visit Ban Gioc water fall, one of the 4 largest waterfall along a national border in the world.
Visit the stunning Nguom Ngao cave.
10h30: Back to Cao Bang city and having lunch. You will get the chance to stop at an ethnic village known for its rice production.
Afternoon: Car back to Ha Noi. Tour ends around 20h00.
