02 Days - Tu Ne Homestay and Community Experience

Day 01:  Hanoi - Cu village, Tu Ne (L,D)
Pick-up from your hotel for a two hours drives to Cu village, Tu Ne commune, south-west of Hanoi. Just an hour beyond Hanoi, after Hoa Binh Town, the road weaves through mountains, fertile valleys and traditional villages. Arrive around noon, and meet your hosts for these two exciting days. Enjoy lunch with the family, made of delicious Muong specialties, and a friendly talk with your hosts about their daily life and Muong’s traditions and customs.

After Lunch, spend the afternoon walking in the village, exploring the natural surroundings and peaceful rural scenery. Meet villagers and learn about their daily works and activities. Return to the homestay late afternoon, and enjoy herbal foot bath with fragrant leaves soaked in warm water. Overnight at Homestay in Tu Ne.

Distances and journey time: Hanoi to Tu Ne (110km): 2.5hrs

Day 02: Tu Ne - Hanoi (B,L)
Wake up amid the countryside’s fresh air and enjoy breakfast with your hosts. Then, take a countryside walk through the surrounding villages. Back to Homestay for farewell lunch with your hosts, and then back to Hanoi.

Our services include:
- Accommodation in a traditional stilt house (maximum 16 persons staying in 3 families together with the host, Mr. Anh’s family can accommodate max 8 pax, others houses: 4 pax/family). In each house, mattresses and mosquito nets will be arranged and you will stay together with the rest of your group (no other groups added) and your host family. Please note the comfort at the homestay is very basic however clean, and proper toilet and shower facilities (Hot water) are situated in a small separate building at the back of the house.

- English or French speaking guide (for other languages and a national guide supplements apply)
- Tours and transfers as mentioned by private air conditioned vehicle
- Entrance fees for mentioned visits
