04 Days - THE CULTURAL HAVEN BY THE BEACH IN THE CENTRAL VIETNAM

Day 01: Danang - Hoi An
Upon arrival in Danang, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An, a lovely riverside town that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 02:  Hoi An
Today choose from one of the two experiences:
Half Day Hoi An Local Life by Electric Scooter  - Hop onto a scooter (drive or be driven) off the beaten track through the stunning countryside, paddy fields and grazing buffalos and go behind the scenes to understand the cottage industries and culinary delights of the region.

Countryside Photography Walk with a Specialist - Meet your guide for a short briefing on camera settings and the way cameras see the world. Along the way we stop at various photo locations for photo discussions, picture reviews and in the field tips, techniques and advice.

Optional: Afternoon, enjoy the beach or have to option to visit My Son – another UNESCO site.

Day 03: Hoi An - Hue -  Hoi An
Make a full day excursion to Hue, which is about 3½ hour drive away. Hue was the former imperial capital of Vietnam and rated by many as the most beautiful city in the country.  

In Hue, you visit the Imperial Citadel with the Forbidden Palace inside. This palace models after the Imperial Palace of China - though on a smaller scale, it exudes its own unique charm. Enjoy lunch at Y Thao restaurant, run by the former Imperial family of Hue before we visit Thien Mu Pagoda, sitting next to the Perfume River. Visit Khai Dinh Tomb, built from 1920 to 1931 taking 11 years to complete. The tomb is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture.

Day 04: Hoi An - Da Nang - Departure
Have a free day at leisure transfer to the Danang airport for your flight.

Recommendation:
For the adventurous, we can organize a photography and caving trips to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, 4 hours from Hue. Tu Lan and Son Doong Cave System were discovered only in 2009/2010 and is the largest cave in the world. It was found by a local jungle man by accident and has since attracted attention of BBC, National Geographic and various international media.

Anantara Hoi An Resort
Located along the scenic Thu Bon River, Life Heritage Resort Hoi An is a short stroll from the colorful and bustling Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Touches of French, Dutch, Chinese and Japanese cultures make up the distinct ambience and atmosphere in the resort. *Not by the beach.

Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort
Replicating a traditional fishing village, the 4-star resort sits on a private strip of sand. The environment is warm and restful and a resident elephant hauls sailboats in and out of the water. The hotel offers three types of room decoration, Japanese, classic French or traditional Vietnamese and provides complimentary shuttle service to Hoi An old town.

The Nam Hai Hoi An
Sitting on a pristine stretch of white sand on Non Nuoc Beach, the resort features luxuriously appointed 1 to 5 bedroom villas; each occupying its own section of the landscaped garden and boast a stunning sea view and nearby Cham Islands. The resort also offers complimentary shuttle service to Hoi An old town

Fusion Maia Danang
Fusion Maia Da Nang is a 4-star resort with a quiet beach and 20 minute drive from Hoi An old town. Spa treatments (plese pre-book) are included in the room rate and a part of daily living in this beach resort. Rooms are modern.
