Day 01: ARRIVAL HANOI - DANANG - HOIAN
Upon arrival, connect flight to Danang. Upon arrival, met & transfer to Victoria Hoi An or Furama Resort. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An. This is a lovely riverside township with narrow streets and old buildings. It’s also a great place for ethnic crafts. UNESCO has listed Hoi An as a World Heritage Site in Dec 1999.
Day 02: DANANG - HUE (Breakfast, Lunch included)
It’s a full day excursion to Hue, which is about 2 ½ hour drive away. The drive is lovely along the South China Sea Coast and over the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Clouds).
Hue was the capital of Imperial Vietnam and rated by many as the most beautiful city of the country. UNESCO has also listed Hue as a World Heritage Site. We visit the Imperial Citadel with the Forbidden Palace inside. This palace model after the Imperial Palace of China - though on a smaller scale, it exudes its own unique charm. We will also visit the Royal Tomb of Tu Duc. Overnight at hotel in Hue
Day 03: DANANG - HOIAN - MY SON (Breakfast, Lunch included)
This morning, drive about 1 ½ hour to visit My Son, one of the most important Cham site in the country and it’s set amongst lovely hills. My Son is another of Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. You have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the beach or spend more time in Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoian
Day 04: DANANG - HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch included)
Transfer to the airport for flight Danang/Hanoi. Upon arrival, met & transfer to Melia or Metropole. This afternoon, we start with the Vietnam History Museum followed by Hoem Kiem Lake. Then, take a rickshaw ride through the alleys of the Old Quarter.
Day 05: HANOI - HALONG BAY (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
This morning, drive about 3 hours through rustic Vietnamese countryside to Halong Bay, one of the 4 UNESCO World Heritage sites. With hundreds of giant limestone peaks jutting out of the water of the Bay of Tonkins - it’s indeed an impressive sight.
In the afternoon, take a cruise on the bay on your own private traditional junk cruise. Explore the many rarely visited bays and caves - swim, kayak or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
Day 06: HALONG BAY - HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch included)
Following breakfasta t hotel. Continue cruising the Halong Bay. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi.
Day 07: HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch included)
Enjoy another full day in Hanoi. In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his Former Residence & visit Temple of Literature - the first University in Vietnam & the capital of Vietnam about 1000 years ago.
In the afternoon, we drive to the outskirt of Hanoi to visit the handicraft villages such as the pottery & silk weaving villages which have been practicing the trade for more than a century. This evening, be treated to a water puppet show, a performing art unique to Vietnam.
Day 08: HANOI - DEPARTURE (Breakfast included)
You have time to shop in the many galleries, boutiques or bazaar like Old Hanoi. Transfer to the airport for departure flight
