Day 01 Hanoi - Mai Ha Village (L,D)
We start the day with our guide collecting you for the journey to Mai Chau. We will drive through the beautiful countryside of Hoa Binh Province before descending into the Mai Ha Valley. You will be warmly greeted by a local White Thai family who will share their stilted house with you for a memorable home stay. After lunch we will trek to some of the neighbouring villages to see a traditional way of life and enjoy a bamboo rafting tour along river. After dinner you will join in with the music and dancing of the local village band and the chance to sample the locally poroduced rice wine. Overnight with your host family in Poong Coong.
Day 02: Mai ha - Paco - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we take a short drive of about 35km further to the north. Here we will stop and visit Hang Kia village of the H’mong people. Take a walk around this beautiful village stopping at some H’mong family houses. At the far end of the village our driver will pick you up and we will continue towards Hoa Binh town for lunch. From here, we go straight to Hanoi. End of tour.
