Day 01: Ha Noi - Hoa Binh (L, D)
Depart at 8.00 for Hoa Binh, stopping at Thai and Muong villages and the hydro-electric power plant before reaching Mai Chau. After a traditional lunch, walk around Lac and Pong coong villages, where your guide will introduce you the traditional techniques for building houses, making silk and farming wet rice. In the evening, enjoy some local rice wine while being entertained by the traditional music and dancing of the White Thai, Hmong, and Dzao. Finally, stay overnight in a traditional stilt house in the village.
Day 02: Mai Chau - Son La (B, L, D)
After breakfast, the bus will take you to Son La. On the way you will visit two villages of the Black H’mong and Black Thai people. On arrival at Son La, check into your hotel and have lunch. Your guide will then take you to visit the Son La Prison & War Museum in the afternoon. After dinner at 7 pm, you are free to walk explore Son La at your leisure.
Day 03: Son La - Dien Bien Phu (B, L, D)
Travel by bus to Dien Bien to visit the many hill tribes of the area - the Hmong, Dao, Kho Mu and Mang – seeing picturesque terraced fields and forests on the way. After checking in to your hotel and having lunch, visit Dien Bien Phu Army Museum, Hill A1, Muong Thanh airport, and the Decastry General underground tunnel.
Day 04: Dien Bien Phu - Lai chau- Sapa (B, L, D)
This morning drive to Sapa with stopovers at waterfalls and the markets of ethnic minority people along the way to Lai chau. After hotel check-in and lunch, your guide will take you to visit the Black H’mong village of Cat Cat, a waterfall and the hydroelectric power station built in 1925 by the French. After dinner back in Sapa, you are free to visit the town and its daily market with the goods of about ten ethnic minorities for sale. Don’t miss the Love Market on Saturday night.
Day 05: Discovering around Sapa (B, L)
After breakfast, the guide will take you to Lao Chai and TaVan, villages of the H’mong and Dzay. Have lunch on the way or with a family in one of the ethnic villages. Overnight at Sapa.
Day 06: Sapa - Bac Ha Market (B, L, D)
After breakfast and saying good bye to Sapa , you are collected by private car and driven nearly three hours to Bac Ha Market – the most colorful and the biggest market of Ethnic minorities in remote and mountainous area. Coming here, tourists have golden chances to talk and exchange culture, customs , handicrafts … with Flower H’Mong people .
PM : after Lunch with traditional food of local people , the guide takes you to Old Castle of King of H’Mong and Pho village of Flower H’mong people. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 07: Bac Ha - Hanoi (B, L)
eturn to Hanoi via the spectacular northern countryside along Red River. On the way, enjoy beautiful landscapes and observe the daily life of Viet People. Arrive in HaNoi late afternoon.
