DAY 01: Hanoi – Halong Bay - Bai Tu Long
Leave Hanoi in the morning by either shared vehicle or private car for the four-hour drive to Halong Bay. A small boat will take you to your junk, which is anchored just offshore. Onboard, you will receive a welcome drink and cruise briefing before setting off for Bai Tu Long National Park. Cruise past floating villages, limestone peaks and hidden caves. Anchor and explore further by kayak. During the summer months you can go for a swim in the clear waters of the bay.
DAY 02: Bai Tu Long Bay
The next day, spend the morning at Bua Cua Beach where you can swim or sunbathe. Enjoy a typical Vietnamese BBQ on the beach and go for a kayak if you are feeling energetic. In the afternoon, visit floating fishing villages and return to the junk to watch the sunset over this incredible seascape.
DAY 03: Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi
On your last morning, take a traditional rowboat to visit the floating fishing village of Vong Vieng. Watch as the people go about daily lives shaped by the ageless rhythms of the sea. Cruise back to the dock while an early lunch is served. Return to your hotel in Hanoi, arriving in the capital in the late afternoon.
