Day 01: Arrive Saigon.
Pick up and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Park Hyatt hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 02: Saigon - Phan Thiet ( B )
Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning and check into resort. The rest of day is free to relax by the pool or on the sandy beach. Overnight at Princess d'Annam Resort in Phan Thiet.
Day 03: Phan Thiet ( B )
A full day at leisure in the resort or on the beach. For the more active, golf is available nearby. Overnight at Princess d'Annam Resort in Phan Thiet.
Day 04: Phan Thiet - Phan Rang - Nui Chua ( B )
Leave Phan Thiet for Nha Trang after breakfast breaking the journey at Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. Arrive and stay overnight at Amanoi Resort.
Day 05, 06 and 07: Phan Thiet - Phan Rang - Nui Chua ( B )
Following daily breakfast at hotel. Free time at leisure at this charming resort. Overnight at Amanoi Resort. .
Guest accommodation includes 31 Pavilions, a number with private swimming pools, and five Aman Villas, all positioned on the hillside with impressive views. The design of the Pavilions and Aman Villas fuses contemporary elegance with traditional Vietnamese architectural styles. Views are either of Nui Chua National Park, the lake on the property, or Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea. Pavilions are identical in layout and design, and each offers a combined living and sleeping area, as well as a timber sundeck with sun loungers. Features include a king-size bed, sofa, writing desk, LCD TV with international channels, sound docking system, wireless Internet, mini-bar and espresso machine. Amanoi provides five accommodation categories: Pavilions offer picturesque views of the surrounding mountains or the lake. Pool Pavilions feature a private swimming pool with panoramic views. Ocean Pavilions offer expansive views of Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea, while Ocean Pool Pavilions offer similar views alongside private swimming pools. Each Aman Villa consists of four or five free-standing bedroom pavilions, as well as living and dining pavilions and a large private swimming pool. A live-in housekeeper and cook meet all guests’ needs, including the preparation of Vietnamese or Western cuisine in the villa’s private kitchen.
Day 08: Phan Rang - Nhatrang ( B )
After breakfast at hotel. We head out for Phan Rang follow Highway One up the coast past salt ponds and vivid green rice fields to Nha Trang. This is a very scenic drive along the central coast of Vietnam as we pass throught different villages and lush rice fields. Overnight at An Lam Ninh Van Bay Villas in Nha Trang.
Day 09: Nha Trang ( B )
A morning boat trip on Nha Trang bay visits some of the nearby islands and there are opportunities to swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters. After a fresh seafood lunch at one of the islands in the bay return to shore for a short afternoon city tour including the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively Dam Market. Overnight in Nha Trang. Day 6: Nha Trang. At leisure. Water sports abound including parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing and relaxing boat trips to the outlying islands. Overnight at An Lam Ninh Van Bay Villas in Nha Trang.
Day 10: Nha Trang - Quy Nhon ( B )
Leaving Nha Trang after breakfast continue the scenic journey northwards up Highway One to Quy Nhon, 240km away. Transfer to the resort on arrival. The rest of day is at leisure. Overnight at Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa.
Day 11: Quy Nhon (B )
Following breakfast at hotel. At leisure at Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa which offers a variety of relaxing treatments at its spa centre. Overnight at Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa
Day 12: Quy Nhon - Hoi An ( B )
Leave Quy Nhon after breakfast for Hoi An, breaking the journey to visit My Lai Massacre Memorial near to Quang Ngai. Arrive in Hoi An early in the afternoon. Hoi An was a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful market. Overnight at Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An.
Day 13: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An ( B )
A half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. On returning to Hoi An the afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at the Nam Hai Resort, Hoi An.
Day 14: Hoi An ( B )
A day free to relax on the beach or by the resort pool or perhaps rent a bicycle to ride into Hoi An to explore the picturesque centre of town with its restored 18th century merchants’ houses. Hoi An also boasts some of the best silk shops, art galleries and handicraft shops in Vietnam as well as dozens of excellent restaurants serving the delicious local specialties. Overnight at Four Seasons Resort, Hoi An.
Day 15: Hoi An - Danang - Departure ( B )
At leisure until transferring to Danang Airport for onward flight.
