Sightseeing to Hue Imperial City

Spend full day to visit Hue City, Vietnam's political capital from 1802 to 1945 under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Traditionally, the city has been one of Vietnam's cultural, religious and educational centers. Visiting Thien Mu Pagoda to learn about Vietnam Buddhism religion Visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, then the Tombs of King Khai Dinh and King Tu Duc.

08:00 am: Departs from Hoian head to Hue, we drive through Hai Van Pass and stopover to enjoy amazing view of East Sea from the top of the pass. Upon arrival at Hue, we will visit the Citadel, Hue’s most prime attraction, containing the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence and visit Thien Mu Pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers. 

After having lunch at the restaurant, we will go sightseeing at Khai Dinh or Tu Duc Tomb is beautifully set in a tranquil area of gardens and lakes then return to Hoi An or your hotel in Hue.

The trip finishes around 6:00 – 6h30pm at your hotel!
