Day 01: Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark
Kick off your adventure with a scenic ride through some of Ha Giang’s most breathtaking landscapes. Wind your way through Bac Sum Pass, Can Ty Pass, and Chin Khoanh Pass, stopping to soak in the views. Immerse yourself in local culture at the Hmong King’s Palace. End the day in Dong Van, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dinner at our authentic homestay, sharing stories with guides and fellow travelers as you prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 02: Ma Pi Leng Pass
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast at your local homestay before setting off for another epic day of exploration. You'll ride along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, Vietnam’s most iconic mountain road, famous for its dramatic cliffs and sweeping views over the Nho Que River gorge. Next, stretch your legs on the Ma Pi Leng Skywalk, a scenic hiking trail carved into the cliffside that offers unbeatable views and perfect photo opportunities. After riding through picturesque villages and mountain roads, you’ll arrive at our peaceful Bao Lac homestay, surrounded by lush rice paddies and tranquil countryside. As the sun begins to set, soak in the panoramic views of the valley and the lights from neighbouring mountain villages across the border. In the evening, gather around the bonfire for a delicious local dinner, a taste of “happy water,” and stories shared under the stars.
Day 03 Mountain Angel’s Eye
Embark on a day filled with natural wonders and serene landscapes. Ride through Khau Coc Cha Pass, where a short hike rewards you with views of winding roads carved into the mountains. Continue to the stunning Na Tenh Pass, offering panoramic views of lush valleys below. Arrive at Angel Eye Mountain, an extraordinary natural formation with a hole through its center, perfect for exploration and photos. Spend the evening relaxing at a cozy homestay near Ban Gioc, enjoying a delicious dinner and the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding countryside.
Day 04: Ban Gioc waterfalls – Detian falls
Begin your day with a trek through Nguom Ngao Cave, a sprawling network of limestone formations that feels like stepping into another world. Next, visit the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, where a boat ride explores this breathtaking natural wonder on the border of Vietnam and China. Snap unforgettable photos, explore the surrounding area on foot, and soak in the beauty of this unique destination. After lunch, wind through the scenic Vinh Quy Grass Hills before returning to Cao Bang City. Wrap up the adventure in our local hostel before heading back to Hanoi, your heart (and camera) full of unforgettable memories.
